IMMERGAS AND 1,000,000 BOILERS PRODUCED IN SLOVAKIA
The new assembly line for Immergas Victrix Exa boilers, inaugurated by the President of the Slovak republic, Andrej Kiska, in the Immergas Europe plant in Poprad on 21 September 2016, has produced boiler no. 1,000,000.
Brescello 29 September 2017 –“Exactly twenty years after the first million boilers were produced in the Brescello plant, back in 1997, and with over 50 years of industrial development from the first C16 floor-standing boiler sold in 1966 – commented Alfredo Amadei, Chairman of Immergas since last year- is a new record that joins all the ones obtained in 53 years of history: in 2002 the first 2 million boilers, in 2006 the 3 million mark, in 2009 4 million and on 2nd December 2013 we reached 5 million, which will soon become 6 million”.
Immergas has been active in Slovakia since 2009 and in the last year alone the company invested 1 million Euro to consolidate its presence in a developing area that is strategic for global competitiveness, increasing production to 112,000 boilers per year, with further possibility of expansion.
In addition to the new Victrix Exa boiler production line, the development of the Immergas Europe plant in Poprad features improved logistics premises, expanding the total area from the 6800 square metres of 2008 to 15300 square metres. New offices, a staff canteen and other services have been created.
In less than 10 years the turnover of Immergas Europe has grown to 35,000,000 and the number of employees increased from 30 to about 80.
