From the “Laboratorium”, new ideas for the environment

The unique architecture of Laboratorium – the building created in 2018 and dedicated to Research and Development – conveys at first sight the innovative intention of its role: progressive acceleration towards technologies that offer more comfort, more respect for the environment and decreased consumption.

Space for research and innovation

More than 20km of cables, 30km of pipes and 2,500 square metres of interior space: the research centre is dedicated to laboratories, test rooms and offices for the over 60 experts and engineers. The flexibility of the facility is suitable for research, the equipment is high levelled and the workstations are fully equipped with state-of-the-art tools. Each piece of data is correlated with parameters and procedures to provide a wealth of decisive information.

The Laboratorium activities

In the area dedicated to electronic solutions, remote controls have been created and forms of artificial intelligence technology are being developed. The objective of testing areas is pushing appliances to the limit with accelerated use that corresponds to 10 years of use in all situations. The centre, together with important Universities, studies how to reduce harmful emissions and how to make the appliances less noisy in a special anechoic chamber.

For families around the world

In the area dedicated to combustion, we carry out tests to achieve maximum efficiency with minimum power, to reduce consumption and harmful emissions. Here we test performances with dozens of different gases to prepare the products to be exported all over the world. Our climate chamber tests equipment at temperatures ranging from -15 °C to +45 °C to offer reliable data to installers and designers in all climatic conditions.
